Based in Upstate New York in the village of Saugerties, Horse Shows In The Sun, Inc. (HITS) is a special events management company with its primary focus on producing hunter/jumper horse shows. Since its beginning in 1982, HITS has grown into a nationwide company, producing hunter/jumper horse shows in California, Florida, Arizona, New York, Virginia, and Nevada. Blackburn Architects was asked to design the show grounds, including offices and other buildings, at the proposed Saugerties show-grounds site.
